Consolidated Alloys ensures the highest quality of its product is maintained through implementing and maintaining management systems for the control of product properties and quality. Through our in-house laboratory we constantly monitor the product to ensure the highest possible quality is maintained.

 

Our laboratory incorporates both wet chemistry and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy which is used to determine the concentration of particular elements in a sample. Some of the products analysed using this equipment are solders, bearing metals, type metals, jewellery and fusible alloys. Our laboratory technicians also undertake metallography of material including anode blades manufactured for the electrorefining and SX/EW refining of metals to examine grain size and formation.
