Ultrapure 63/37 Solder is manufactured using high purity virgin metals and is extruded under vacuum. This special manufacturing procedure ensures that the solder is oxide free thus reducing dross formation and improving solder fluidity and wetting, resulting in clean solder joints with minimal possibility of defects.

 

Ultrapure 63/37 solder far exceeds the requirements of both the Australian and British Standards.

 

 

 

 

 

Ultrapure solder can be used in all relevant soldering applications, e.g. wavesoldering, solder leveling, however is ideally suited to the stringent requirements of Surface Mount Technology.
